Fun times

Maxwell and I have been having a blast this week- especially with the wonderful fall weather here.

Party!

Max's party invites are going out first thing tomorrow. I truly can't believe he's turning 2 years old in less than 2 weeks!

I totally want that time controller Hermoine had. That would make life so sweet!
I could think of hundreds of days I could have used it recently!

I couldn't remember how old I am. So I just pulled out a calculator to do the math. How pathetic is that?

Fruit fly killer!

Here is a great eco friendly way to kill all those annoying and pesky fruit flies!

All you need



A glass. Red wine or apple cider vinegar. Dish soap.


Pour in some of the vinegar. Add a couple drops of the dish soap. The soap changes the surface tension and traps them as they go for the vinegar.

Set it out wherever you have a fruit fly problem.

Works like a charm!

Couches

A couple months ago we got our new couches. We've played around with a couple combinations but I think I'm finally pleased with the location.

Here they are!



Our family room. The chaise is moveable to either end of the couch. I love that option!


I re-did the mantle too.


We had a longer couch here previously so that's why the artwork is off-center.

Today's outfit was just something I sorta threw together.






Over the last couple months I've really developed a love for Banana Republic jeans. I order the majority on eBay.

This pair I just got and I think the color/pattern in the jeans is subtle yet so neat.

After Max my body really shifted- not just in size but also I got some curves that I never had. So bottoms (shorts/pants) fit me so differently. I've found that the BR jeans (bootcut and trouser styles) definitely flatter and are really comfy.

Loving all these fun new jeans!
